To update the speakers, please do the following:

  1. Unzip the file and put the "ota.bin" file on an empty USB drive (MAX 32 GB - formatted as FAT32)*. Remember to "eject" it properly before removing it from the computer
  2. Plug it into the USB port on the back of the speaker
  3. Turn on the speaker and hold the mute-button for 8 seconds
  4. The LED on the speaker will now start blinking to indicate it is updating
  5. Once it has stopped blinking, please unplug the power cable, disconnect the USB drive and wait 5 seconds before turning on the speaker again. It's now updated!

Step 1: Insert a USB drive into a USB port.

Step 2: Navigate to Applications > Utilities, and click it twice to open it.

Step 3: Select the drive you want to format and click on Erase.

Step 4: Rename the USB drive (optional), and choose the MS-DOS(FAT) for format

Step 5: Select Master Boot Record for scheme, hit Erase

Step 6: Once the process is done, you are ready to use the drive with FAT32 file system to save data

All files on the USB flash drive will be deleted during the convert process with format feature, so please back up your files first if you have data inside originally.
